    How we count

    • Paper money. No real money moves. "Live paper" is what the bot has really done. "Simulated history" is the same rules on past prices, not real trades.
    • A trade counts on the day it is sold. Won or lost is after fees.
    • SPY holds the 500 biggest US companies. It shows what you would have made doing nothing.
    • The safety stop sells everything if the account drops 10% from its best point. Only Rj can switch it back on.

                    3. It can only stop a new buy: if a stock had a clearly bad headline (score −0.5 or lower) in the last 48 hours, the bot skips that buy.

                      1. Install Python 3.11 or newer from python.org (tick "Add Python to PATH").
                        2. 
            
                      2. Open MetaTrader 5, log in to your broker's demo account and turn on "Allow algorithmic trading" (Tools › Options › Expert Advisors).

                      3. Copy the pc folder from the bot to your PC, open a Command Prompt in it and run pip install -r requirements.txt.

                      4. Copy mt5_config.example.json to mt5_config.json and paste the token below into it. Never put a password in it.

                      5. Run python mt5_bridge.py and leave the window open. This page shows "online" within a minute.
